Vol. 2230: The "Weird Dream" Edition

Had a bit of an odd dream last night. I was making an ad for a Jewish Techn9ne concert (Because apparently Jewish people have their own concerts or something in my dream world) and I had a co-worker say "well did you get the special rules sheet that goes with it?" And I hadn't, because I'd never made such an ad before... So I had to make a special sheet to go with the ad that needed approval from a Rabbi. Then, in the end the Rabbi didn't care about approving anything and I was relieved because I couldn't seem to get it approved in time for the concert lol

Weird, I tell ya. Weird.

That's extremely odd.

I've been having a mix of weird dreams the past few nights but they're all impossible to remember when I wake up. Really pisses me off that I can't remember them.

So, my weekend was pretty tits.

Won free passes to an album release party at the House of Blues Saturday. Got to hang out with the band a bit, have a few drinks, and hear some new music that won't be released til later this week.

Sunday I played with some cute ass puppies on my volunteer shift at Paws (Chicago-area animal shelter), then won my 35/1 bet on the Masters when Sergio Garcia pulled it out on the playoff hole.

Also, went on a mini Jordan collection binge with the sales from my McDavid YG, so I should have some fun mail later this week.

That sounds like fun! Dog part especially. Saturday the wife and I ran around town doing some errands and what not and otherwise generally relaxed. Sunday was gutter cleaning day so I don't get any more seepage the next time it downpours for two-three days lol

I did see that. Pretty insane, really.

I had to drive home during my lunch today because I forgot to do something this morning that I wanted to do and it only takes me about a half hour total travel time, and because I was home I got to romp around with my dogs for a few minutes while I was home. That's a great mid day pick me up. Every work place should have a dog or more to help boost moral. It really helps.

I've been trying to sell my boss on an office dog. It does not seem to be going well.

I'm tellin' ya... It's a great idea. It'd never happen here, either. I couldn't even talk them in to letting me have a small fish tank on my desk (a betta). The lady in charge of stuff like that isn't big on animals.

I mean, I mostly just want a dog for me. But figure it'd be better for the dog if it can get attention, so if I brought it to work as an office dog, we'd all win, right?

I'm gonna be in trouble volunteering at Paws. I've been there twice and want to take a dog home with me everytime. Yesterday it was this dog Mumu. Cool looking Collie mix, and the dog kinda knows how doors works. If the door swung out instead of into his room he would have easily opened it because he just kept pulling down the handle and pushing on the door.

Hah I get that. I have 2 dogs, two cats and a rabbit. If I had more room/time/etc. I'd have more. That dog sounds like a challenge. The smart ones are handfulls lol

Yeah, I need a dumb, lazy dog that likes to sleep for 10 hours during the day and another 6-8 or so at night.

You just described my dog's sleeping habits. Outside of about 14-16 hours of sleep every day, he terrorizes our cats for about 6 hours and we play outside with him for 1-2 hours. He's pretty smart though.

what kind of dog? that's what I need
