They should just let United deliver the baby.

That giraffe isn't pregnant. I'm convinced that whole fiasco has just been a ploy to drive internet traffic to whoever is hosting the video.

this is a pretty fun NHL playoff primer:

Of course the Blackhawks section backfired:
Yes, I do in fact want the Bulls to be homeless.

Of course the Blackhawks section backfired:
The Blackhawks have already won three Stanley Cups since 2010, so you probably shouldn't be rooting for them anyway. But if history has taught us anything, it's that another Cup win for Chicago would mean that the NHL would give them even more outdoor games, to the point that their season schedule will be entirely comprised of games outside. In fact, they may tear down the United Center just for good measure. That would leave the Bulls homeless. Do you want the Bulls to be homeless?"
Yes, I do in fact want the Bulls to be homeless.

We have our annual hockey playoffs pool here at work. I have the Ottawa Senators. So I'm not winning any $$ because Canadians teams don't win lol

I get to leave work a little early today.. woo hoo! But I have to bust ass to get home, load my lawn more up and take it to get a tuneup before the damn place closes, which is a pain in the ass. But I need that puppy working by Saturday so I can mow the lawn.

I just bought a new lawn mower right before spring. As soon as Lowe's put them out I snatched one up with my military discount. $200-300 items are a little more palatable with a 10% discount. I've mowed twice so far. Thinking about doing one more mow this weekend before I put down the weed/crabgrass killer.

I helped my dad change oil and spark plugs in his mower a couple of weeks ago. Which makes no sense to me, b/c my parents are moving to a no-maintenance community in 2 weeks and he wont need a mower anymore.
Anyway, thats as close to mowing as I'll get all summer. Yay for apartment living.

I'd get a new mower, but I like having this old one. It was my Grandma's and then my parents had it and now I have it. I'll try to keep it going as long as I can
Re: Vol. 2232: "That Damn Giraffe Still hasn't had its Baby" edition
I had an old hand-me-down mower until last fall. I had gotten it for free (thanks to one of my buddy's rich neighbors) just after we moved into our house. It lasted me the entire summer without much issue but then I went to do one final mow before the cold weather started hitting and the damn thing literally fell apart. The entire housing for the engine and all that came off when I pulled the cord. I have no idea why it happened. It stalled out and the key ignition wouldn't start it so I pulled the cord and the housing flew off and gas started pouring out everywhere. I probably looked like a god damn idiot to all my neighbors. I took about 5 minutes to look at it and see if it seemed like anything that I could fix, then decided it was getting left on the curb. About 2 hours later some random car pulled up and took it so it was no longer my problem.

Damn that's an absolute fall apart there lol This mower has been going since the 90s and so far so good. She's temperamental but works for now.

The one I had was probably 10-15 years old but ran like a champ up until that point. Had the key ignition on it, which was awesome. I was looking for one of those when I bought my new mower but didn't want to spend the extra $100 for it. The one I bought is pretty sweet and starts on the first pull like 99% of the time.
