Everyone have a decent weekend? Do anything interesting for Easter or in general? Saturday was yard work day so that was fun. Sunday to the home land for easter eating with family.

The Blackhawks suck now so I have to hear crap from my Predator loving cousin. Meanwhile, the Bulls won game 1 because you really can not predict this team at all.

Good stuff! I like the first one.

Oh, speaking of Jordan... My LCS started selling Pops (I may have influenced this lol) and I am selling some of mine there so I was in the store this weekend and had a Pop friend stop by to check it out and this guy is a big timer. Like, really big. When I talk about how it's cool to have my one Tupac... He said he has a case of them. He pays like $800 a month on storage for all the stuff he has.

I guess he used to dabble in high end cards, too. He said he still has sealed boxes of 03/04 exquisite. And he has like 20 BGS 9.5/10 Jordan RCs. He said that whenever he would see one for a decent price he'd get it. And that he would only collect 9.5/10 RCs only. Completely crazy.

Jesus. I can't fathom having that much disposable income. Or potential income sitting in storage

Also, my weekend was fun. LBC concert on Saturday night was awesome. And saved me from watching the disaster of a Hawks game.

Had my first full volunteer shift at Paws yesterday (as opposed to my mentor sessions I had been doing) so I had more freedom and could play with dogs and walk dogs on my own. Fell in love with this old collie/mix named Batista. He's almost 12 and I feel awful that he's in the shelter. He's the sweetest dog, and even though he's big and strong (75ish lbs), he was super easy to walk. I would have taken him home if I could.
I did get to work with one dog that got adopted yesterday. It was a 9 year old little tiny dog, but was perfect for this lady and she's older and retired and wanted a low maintenance dog to get for companionship and to get her out of the house on walks.
Puppies get adopted all the time, so it's nice to see an older dog get a home too.

It's ridiculous. He goes to like all of the comicons and told me what his strategy is. His goal is to spend $50,000 because you double your money. First, he makes sure to get what will cover his spending for con will be, then everything else from there is profit. Freaking ridiculous lol

I love when the older animals get adopted. The younger ones tend to not have too much of an issue usually. I'd never seek out getting a puppy. It's a lot of work, you have to be home a lot and then there's the rambunctious nature of a puppy storm being around all the time.

And you could use Flikr or however you spell it. That works pretty well.
